Writing > Watching TV
I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to force myself to write on this blog at least once a week in order to keep the wheels of my mind oiled and turning. I just wish I didn’t have so much TV to watch in the meantime…

I’m so backlogged on TV dramas that it’s gonna be hard to watch them all. Other than the last half of Breaking Bad Season 4, I’ve got 10GBs or so of “Awake” on my DVR and 2 more episodes of Fringe. I always find it tough to motivate myself to watch dramas due to their inherent non-cheery nature. It’s the same reason that I have a DVD/Digital Copy of Black Swan next to my television gathering dust.
I just don’t like to bum myself out.
It’s the same reason that I’ve watched about 40 episodes of Arrested Development on Netflix this month, comedies are a much easier form of entertainment to consume because they make me happier. You have to be slightly unhinged to be grinning like a mad man during a drama where a guy is dealing with the horrific death of his wife and son.
I guess when you’re overloaded with choice, you just gravitate to the familiar
